To the Parents and Guardians of The Hamptons School,
Thank you for continuing to teach your children their purpose:
I come to The Hamptons School to Learn.
Celebration of Learning
On Tuesday morning, the students in Mrs. Oseen and Mrs. Werle’s classes celebrated their learning at an assembly. They were very excited to share their learning in health, science, literacy, art, social studies, physical education and math and how they learn in many different ways:
- Poetry
- Humor
- Music, Singing and Dancing
- Art
- Research
- Video – highlighting their animal research and a trip down memory lane of this year’s learning
The whole school was also excited as they learned, laughed and celebrated with Mrs. Oseen and Mrs. Werle’s students.
The students reminded us that:
- Books are one of the best parts of school because they help us learn, imagine, and explore new worlds!
- Every time you read a book, you are learning something new and growing your brain!
- Books help us use our imagination and think of new ideas.
- Reading is one of the best parts of the school, and we are so thankful for all the books that our school has. Fiction, non-fiction, graphic novels and chapter books.
- We love them all!
They also created an energizing and entertaining video that highlighted the many activities that students can participate in, while reading! 😊
We are definitely going to continue reading our books during the summer!!! 😊
Hamptons Husky Day
Today was a wonderful day for the annual Hamptons Husky Day!
The students were bursting with energy and excitement! 😊
The day started with a Spirited Pep Rally, in the gym, with a student parade of designed Classroom Flags!!
The students participated in the day by choosing from a variety of activities that were located outside. The students demonstrated independence, respect, generosity, leadership and sportsmanship.
We are sending a VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU to all the parent volunteers who participated in the Hamptons Husky Day by setting up stations, teaming with teachers to run stations and helping with the clean up and pack up.
We are sooooo very grateful for our parent volunteers.
