Family Fridays

Beginning Friday, Oct. 23, students will participate in the first Family Friday, from 9:00-10:00, and will rotate to 11 centers throughout the year. The Hamptons School created and implemented Family Fridays for the first time last year. All students will be organized into multi-aged family groups and will participate in a variety of learning tasks designed by teachers, connected to the Program of Studies and inspired by Indigenous Learning. Family Fridays will be scheduled once or twice a month from October to June. As well as learning, participating in Family Fridays contributes to developing relationships, building community and creating harmony at The Hamptons School.

Halloween

Students are invited to participate in Hallowe’en on Friday, Oct. 30:

·       please dress in costumes at home, before school, in the morning

·       please ensure costumes are safe and friendly – no scary masks or weapons

Noon Supervision Program

If your child is staying for lunch at The Hamptons School, please ensure that you register your child in the noon supervision program through your MyCBE parent account. Fees will be posted to your parent account by CBE Fees.

Student Supplies Fee

Student supplies fees have been posted to your MyCBEparent account by CBE Fees.

Please leave a message on The Hamptons School Attendance Line at 403-777-7300, Ext. 1 prior to 8:30 AM.

Safety – Student Arrival Time

Teachers are on supervision at 8:22 AM each day.

For the safety of your children, please ensure that your children do not arrive at school before 8:22 AM.

There are no supervising teachers before 8:22 AM.
