First Three Staff Days

During August 26, 27 and 28, the teachers were very busy preparing their classrooms and planning for their students’ learning.

Time was also dedicated to Teacher Professional Learning, connected to the School Development Planning Goals:

  • Literacy Learning with a focus on writing and Adrienne Gear Resources
  • Formative Assessment with a focus on - Learning Intentions and Success Criteria and a Dylan William Resource.

Learning is energizing!

The support staff joined the teaching staff on the third day to review routines, procedures, safety and expectations.

Similar to the student excitement, it is also exciting for the staff to return from summer break and have time together, to develop relationships and to build the Husky Team and Whole School Husky Harmony!

Thank you so very much for attending our Open House on Thursday afternoon and evening.

The time was filled with:

  • Meeting and Greeting

  • Inquiring and Learning
  • Visiting and Building Relationships
  • Creating Community
  • Smiling and Laughing

Thank You so much for your participation!! 😊

My choice is to be aware of our similarities:

our yearning for truth, peace, love, belonging, welcome, grace, mercy

and

at least one moment of real contact at the heart of every day,

Seeing that, I am made more, included, extended and in harmony…..
